Is there an admission charge?

The event is completely free.

Should I bring children?

Yes!  Visitors of all ages are welcome.  We have an entire section of nativities of particular interest to children--Legos, Harry Potter, puppets, animals, etc.  We also have an I-spy style scavenger hunt that kids love!  One note: since many of the nativities are fragile and irreplaceable, we ask that children be carefully supervised and reminded not to touch.

Is there access for wheelchairs and strollers?

Yes.  Our building and display are wheelchair/stroller accessible.  If you need special assistance, just ask one of our Nativity hosts--we'd be happy to help!

How many Nativities are there?

While the number varies slightly from year to year, our display features about 700 nativities. Visit our Gallery page to learn more about this special collection.

What is the best day/time to attend?

The Nativity is busiest on Saturday and Sunday afternoon/evening.  Weekday mornings are the least busy.

How can I get involved?

We would love to  have your help!  You can get involved by lending your nativity, helping with set-up or as a volunteer host.  If you are part of a musical group that would like to perform,  we'd love to hear from you.  Email us anytime at thecommunitynativity@gmail.com for more information.
